What is Leadership Embodiment?

The Leadership Embodiment method combines insights about optimal performance and collaboration from East and West. You learn to recognize your own patterns and bring yourself into an optimal, centered state. It helps coaches and leaders to be truly present in the conversation and to give the most helpful response in the here and now. That can be in the form of confrontation, further questions, silence or sometimes a joke. You become better at manifesting wisdom and compassion.

Leadership Embodiment is a process that uses principles from the non-violent Japanese martial art of Aikido and mindfulness to offer simple tools and practices to increase leadership capacity and respond to stress and pressure with greater confidence and integrity.

What you learn

Learn how to manifest leadership in the present moment.
Work on leadership competencies like:
- being inclusive under all circumstances,
- listening without taking it personally,
- making a powerful point without coming across as aggressive.
Master how to positively influence your state of being with your physical posture, breathing and mental focus.

Leadership Embodiment Fundamentals is part of the Leadership Embodiment Certification. This certification is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF) for Continuing Coach Education (CCE). ICF-certified coaches receive 14 CCE units (Core Competencies 9 and Resource Development 5) for completing the Fundamentals training.

Certificate

Participation in the Leadership Embodiment Fundamentals course earns you a certificate from Wendy Palmer's Leadership Embodiment (level 1) and gives you access to the Leadership Embodiment Intermediate training (level 2).
