Association for Talent Development
The Association for Talent Development (ATD) supports those who develop the knowledge and skills of employees around the world. Professionals who help others achieve their full potential by improving their knowledge, skills, and abilities in the workplace. They go by many titles: talent development managers, trainers, instructional designers, performance consultants, frontline managers, workplace learning professionals, and more.
All ATD training programs are built upon their brand promises:
Competence Training Institute is the exclusive partner in multiple European countries, including The Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland.
"The Training & Facilitation Certificate program exceeded my expectations! I gained insight on ways to present to my audience by keeping them in mind. By learning the modalities to support objectives, I am now able to create a positive learning environment while maintaining a learner-centered session. The techniques that were covered will definitely assist me in supporting our National Sales Training Program."
"This program provides a comprehensive overview of the most fundamental aspects in planning, designing, delivering, and evaluating training. One thing I appreciated about the program was the diversity of the trainers in the room with me. Whether it was a new trainer just kicking off their career or someone like myself with a decade in the field, we all found relevancy in the curriculum and walked away with some new ideas to implement in our own programs."
"I would recommend this program because it's hands on and a nice balance between theory and practical experience. The facilitator did a wonderful job of making it relevant to our organization, and even took the time to get to know our strategy and make links, which had a huge impact on the group."
"The course challenged my past knowledge and made me realize how much more room I had to improve. There were so many takeaways, from how to start the design process to reminders of training methods like ADDIE and others, and almost three months later I still find myself reviewing my notes and materials."
"I attended to learn more about conducting an effective needs analysis and the associated measurement, but along with meeting that expectation I came away with a much more clear understanding of the importance of well-designed course objectives. You will have plenty of takeaways that you didn't expect."
“I would recommend this program because it gives the skills to walk the client to the solution by identifying the root cause first. Treat the cause not the symptom."
"I've been in the HR field and this program opened my eyes to my role and the partnership between the HR department and my clients, as well as what steps to take when planning projects and working with my clients."
At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your techniques in a skills training practice where you will receive feedback and guidance from peers and an ATD expert Facilitator.
